GCS Safety was founded with the belief that protection through inspection is not just a saying but a serious commitment to our clients. We strive to improve the overall culture of safety at our client’s facilities through multi-faceted audits and training programs which have been custom tailored to their needs.
The founder of GCS Safety, Rob Gavel, began his work with the amusement industry as an inspector with the State of Maryland. Mr. Gavel became the Chief Inspector and eventual the Program Manager for the Safety Inspection Unit which consisted not just of inspections of amusement devices but also elevators, boilers-pressure vessels, and railroad safety.
While overseeing a broad range of safety units, Mr. Gavel never lost his passion for the amusement industry and in 2016 he formed his own company, Gavel Consulting Services, LLC which eventually evolved into GCS Safety.
